The emblem of Uttarakhand shows mountainridge with the flow of holy river ganga, and in middle of mountain peaks is the national emblem of India depicting 'Satyamev jayate'. The State bird of Uttarakhand is Monal, state animal is Kasturi Mrig. The State tree is Burash, while the flower is BrahmaKamal.
